Mexican group

Our London summer programme traditionally starts with the arrival of a group of high school students from Mexico City. This is Elias Paniagua’s fourth consecutive year as leader of the group and today he spoke with Kings about his experiences at our school.

“I teach my students English in Mexico and, for me, London is the place for them to come and practice their English in real-life situations. London is a city that all Mexican students like to visit. When my students are not having lessons, we try to visit all the London sights. Yesterday evening, we went to take photos of London by night.”

“Kings is a school that has always received us with open arms and offers quality language programmes. The host families help the students improve as they practice what they learn every day and try to make them feel comfortable, even when they are far from home.”

Two of Elias’s students, Elizabeth and Diana added:

“I’ve had a wonderful experience because I had a chance to meet other students from all over the world and I felt really welcome”

“It’s been wonderful here, the whole environment is beautiful and to get along with people from countries far away, for example, I never thought I would meet a boy from Kazakhstan!”

Today is their last day at Kings and I presented Elias with a Kings T-shirt as a thank you for his great cooperation. Sadly, we’ll have to wait another year to meet him and his students again!
